FAYETTEVILLE, AR / ACCESSWIRE / February 23, 2018 / Arkansas-based production companies Mad Possum Pictures and Riot Act Productions, LLC have completed principal photography on the epic western-thriller, The Riot Act, shot during October and November in Northwest Arkansas. The period thriller is set in Van Buren, Arkansas during 1901-1903, and was inspired by real-life events that occurred in and around the historic Opera House. Writer-Director Devon Parks and Producer-Star Lauren Sweetser (''Winter's Bone'', ''Pali Road'') are joined by an impressive cast including Brett Cullen (''Ghost Rider'', ''Dark Knight Rises''), Connor Price (''X-Company'', ''Being Human'') and Micah Hauptman (''Everest'', ''Homeland''). Three Major Stars to highlight Hannover House Epic Production of "MELTDOWN"
$10-MM Production has been described as "DIE HARD IN A NUCLEAR PLANT" - to begin production in April, 2019. Major Studio and financing partners to be announced separately
"MELTDOWN" - an ambitious action-adventure thriller about a terrorist attack on a USA Nuclear Plant, will be the first of four major titles from Hannover House under a new financing and production structure for 2019. The film's $10-mm budget has been raised through a consortium of international pre-sales, co-production services and bank gap financing; theatrical release - likely for Spring '2020, is expected to launch onto more than 1,000 locations in the United States and Canada, delivering the first "saturation level" theatrical title ever for Hannover House.
